The Complete Open Water Scuba Certification (OWSC) Consists of the following Steps:

Sign up with us today.

Obtain the PADI Crew Pack from KCNS! and start your studies (Included in confined fees)! 

Complete the medical and legal releases obtained in the PADI Crew Pack. 
Complete the knowledge reviews at the end of each chapter. 
Watch the Open Water DVD rented from KCNS. 

Complete the classroom portion:
Review the knowledge review with your instructor from KCNS. 
Pass the chapter quizzes (four of them) and pass the final exam. 

Complete the pool portion:

Complete the water assessment skills tests: 
200 meter swim (not timed - just finish!) 
10 minute float (relaxing after that swim) 

Complete the 5 Confined Water Dives with us at Park Hill Aquatic Center.

This is usually completed in a single Saturday session.

Then... 

Complete the open water portion:
Complete the 4 Open Water Check Out Dives (Over a two day period) 
This can be completed in either of two ways: 
A weekend getaway to Beaver Lake for diving on Saturday and Sunday. 
or... 
A referral to that tropic destination for completion of the 4 Open Water Check Out Dives
